Beaverton basked in the Broadway glow Tuesday night.

Shoshana Bean, a native from the city who’s spent time on the Great White Way, made a triumphant return.

Bean is a 1990s graduate of Beaverton High School. That’s where she performed Tuesday night, along with Michael Allen Harrison and an 18-piece band.

Bean took over the role of Elphaba in the hit musical “Wicked.”

Last month she released her fourth album, “Spectrum.”

She donated the proceeds from Tuesday night’s concert to the performing arts department at Beaverton High, the program where she got her start.
