Crews respond to fire at Washington County residence

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore. – A fire seriously damaged a home in Washington County early Tuesday morning.

Tualatin Valley and Rescue responded to the fire in the 14000 block of Lillium Court Drive around 3:50 a.m.

When they arrived, they saw that heavy flames had extended to the eves and attic.

Crews knocked down the fire relatively quickly and doused the hot spots. They salvaged belongings and cleared the smoke. Fire officials say most of the damage is on the inside of the home. They say it's a total loss.

Firefighters confirmed everyone made it out safely and no one was injured.

Officials say five residents are displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
