Department of Corrections says missing inmate was spotted in Tualatin
TUALATIN, Ore. – The Oregon Department of Corrections says an escaped inmate from the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Wilsonville was spotted in Tualatin.
Officials say Lorrie Marie Hocker, 42, was on her way to a work assignment in Salem and was riding in a van when she opened a door and fled.
Hocker is a white woman who weighs 145 pounds. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall. She has blue eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans with the word “inmate” stenciled on the knee in orange. She also had on a blue t-shirt, a sweatshirt and a coat with a similar stencil.
Hocker arrived at the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility on Sept. 12 on two counts of coercion and one count of felony assault out of Lane County. She wasn’t scheduled to be released until July 2018.
The Oregon Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the Oregon State Police are investigating.
