Disruptive passenger on Seattle-bound Alaska Airlines flight taken into custody in PDX
A disruptive passenger was taken into custody after an Alaska Airlines flight made an early landing in Portland.
Flight 800 left Sacramento for Seattle Monday night just before 9 p.m.
An Alaska Airlines spokesperson told KATU News an intoxicated and disruptive passenger locked himself in the plane's restroom. At the time, the plane was only 200 miles away from Portland, so the pilot decided to land at PDX.
The disruptive passenger was taken into custody at PDX by Portland Airport Police.
The 162 other passengers left PDX for Seattle at 10:40 p.m.
