Eugene music teacher who sexually abused student dies in prison

{p}Loren Eugene Sicks died Sunday morning Nov. 28, 2021, in hospice care at the infirmary at Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla, the Department of Corrections said. Sicks was sentenced to prison out of Lane County on Dec. 7, 1999, on convictions for first-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse. (DOC){/p}
