Father of shooting victim killed in Fernhill Park offers $30,000 reward for information

PORTLAND, Ore. – The father of a 25-year-old man who was murdered in Northeast Portland in January is offering a $30,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for his death.

According to Portland Police Bureau, Cody Oller was killed in a shooting in Fernhill Park on Jan. 8.

Officers responded to a report of gunfire at the park at 9:32 p.m.

When they arrived in the area, they found Oller lying on the ground inside the park. Emergency medical personnel determined he was dead.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner later determined that Oller died from a gunshot wound and ruled his death a homicide.

Police say there is no suspect information in the case.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is also offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest in this unsolved homicide investigation. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
