Former St. Helens teacher charged with sex abuse arrested again
ST. HELENS, Ore. – A former St. Helens teacher charged with sexual abuse was arrested again Wednesday.
Kyle Wroblewski was first arrested in April on sex abuse charges linked to a 17-year-old girl, then released.
According to the Columbia County district attorney, he recently violated his release agreement by trying to contact the victim.
He’s due in court on Aug. 21.
In an order to revoke his release, District Attorney Jeffry Auxier says he believes Wroblewski committed new crimes while on release. The district attorney not only mentions the alleged contact with the victim, but also claims Wroblewski came within 500 feet of the St. Helens High School campus, a violation of his release agreement.
Auxier also believes Wroblewski is a flight risk.
