Gresham police find man with medical conditions reported as missing

UPDATE: Police say Mr. Hill has been found and is back at his assisted care facility. Officers would like to thank everyone who helped with their search.


GRESHAM, Ore. – A Gresham man with medical conditions is missing from his care facility and without his medications, Gresham police said Wednesday.

Police are asking for the public’s help locating 52-year-old Frederick Hill.

Police said Hill walked away from his care facility in the 18900 block of Northeast Davis Street.

He was last seen in the downtown Gresham area, but he may have traveled to Portland, police said.

Hill is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 280 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey hat, grey sweater, blue jeans, black Sketchers shoes and carrying two blue bags.

Police said Hill often wears headphones and walks very slowly.
