LA PINE, Ore. – Deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding a La Pine man who reported as missing on Sunday.

Gary Lynn Humbard, 61, has some medical conditions that might make walking or driving difficult, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office said.

Relatives reported Humbard as missing Sunday (Sept. 10) after he had not returned their phone calls. Deputies checked his home and found that his car was also gone.

As of Wednesday, officials have not been able to get a trace on his cell phone.

Friends tell KATU that Humbard used to live in the Salem area, and deputies say he has been known to visit Eugene.

He’s described as about 5-foot 10-inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds.

He could be driving a maroon-colored 1999 Ford Explorer with Oregon license plates WZX-682.

If you see him, call 9-1-1 so law enforcement can conduct a welfare check.
