VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Home Depot plans to hire more employees as it expands its corporate office at a new facility in Vancouver.

The company says construction is underway at the new employment center east of the Grand Central Shopping Center on Columbia House Boulevard.

The building should be completed in June 2018 and it will welcome the Home Depot QuoteCenter headquarters. The QuoteCenter is a software application used by Home Depot employees across the country.

The Home Depot QuoteCenter currently has 130 employees in Vancouver and it is currently hiring to meet its expansion needs.

"We're thrilled to be part of the growth in Clark County and Vancouver and the team is very much looking forward to the new, contemporary facility," said Nate Copper, general manager of Home Depot QuoteCenter in a release.

The completed site will support 1,500 to 3,000 direct jobs with average annual wages of $69,000 with a total of 2,510-5,020 total jobs supported throughout Clark County.
