'I'm really nervous' KATU producer says before daring flight

HILLSBORO, Ore. - Flips and spins, twists and turns - and all of it 3,000 feet above the earth at 120 miles per hour - that's what KATU News Producer Deidre Hannah experienced on Thursday.

You see, we sent her to the Hillsboro Airport to get an up close and personal look at one of the acts at this weekend's Oregon International Air Show.

She took the ride of her life with Lt. Colonel John Klatt of the Air National Guard. He's one of the top aerobatic pilots in the world. Only a few people can do what he does.

You can see Klatt all three days at the Air Show, which kicks off on Friday at 6 p.m.
