Judge denies bail reduction for soccer trainer facing new sex assault charges
A former soccer coach and convicted sex offender was denied a bail reduction at a hearing on Wednesday.
Luis Trybom was initially arrested in the summer of 2017 on multiple sex abuse charges.
He was released in August and arrested again in December after six more women came forward with accusations.
He’s being held on more than $1.4 million bail.
At Wednesday’s bail hearing, defense lawyers argued that he is not a risk for becoming a fugitive.
Prosecutors cited his history of sex abuse convictions and that other victims that talked to police in the case.
The judge denied the request to reduce bail.
