Keizer man meets long lost relatives after DNA test, finds half-siblings live close by
KEIZER, Ore. – An Oregon man who was adopted as a child recently took a DNA test, and found three family members who all lived close by.
Through the results, John Cummings of Keizer discovered a cousin he didn't know about.
With a little bit of sleuthing -- he was able to find his biological father, a half-sister, and a half-brother.
He learned that those siblings only live an hour away.
John also found out that at one point, he worked across the street from his father, but never knew.
“I haven't known anything my entire life. All this kinda cool stuff and then it showed some relatives," said Cummings.
John met even more of his relatives on Sunday in Keizer.
