Libertarian presidential candidate's staffers set up booth at cannabis conference
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson's staff set up a booth at this weekend's Indo Cannabis Conference in Portland.
It's the first time a presidential candidate has purchased a booth at a marijuana expo, Johnson's staff told KATU News.
"These are people who got tired of waiting for the economy to fix itself for them and they decided they were going to fix their own personal economy, just take a look around. We're looking at the biggest emerging market in the world right now," Drew Layda with Portland for Gary Johnson said.
The event was a job fair and networking event for the marijuana industry.
