PORTLAND, Ore. – Caesar the “No Drama” Llama found a warm welcome from the thousands gathered in Portland’s South Park Blocks for the Womxn's March on Sunday, but he wasn't welcome on a MAX train last week.

TriMet posted a photo of Caeser on one of the trains last Tuesday. They included a poem as well -- reminding people that llamas aren't allowed to ride the MAX, no matter how well your “llama acts.”

KATU reporter Keaton Thomas caught up with Caeser and his handler Larry McCool at the march. Larry says they just had a long way to walk, and he didn't think their trip on the MAX would have gotten so much attention.

“TriMet officially had to tell us we couldn't ride. In reality they loved the fact. They called me up the next day and we talked on the phone about it, it was wonderful,” McCool said.

Larry says that while Caesar was on the MAX, people came from both ends of the train to meet him and take pictures.
