Man armed with gun robs Northeast Portland Domino's Pizza

A man armed with a gun robbed a pizza place Tuesday night, according to Portland police.

Police were called to the Domino’s Pizza at 453 N.E. 70th Avenue about 10 minutes before 8 p.m.

Employees told police that the man showed a handgun and demanded money. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man was described as in his late 40s, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. He had gray hair.

On Monday, a man in his 50s with gray hair robbed the Papa Murphy’s at 2004 N. Rosa Park Way. He too flashed a handgun and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police have not said whether the robberies are connected.
