PORTLAND, Ore. — The man who hit and killed a 17-year-old on a bike earlier this year pleaded guilty Monday.
Franklin Drobny was visibly drunk when he ran over Austin Hrynko in March while he was riding his bicycle. Hrynko died near the intersection of Southeast 142nd Avenue and Center Street.
The Oregonian reports Drobny was sentenced to six years and three months in prison, and he lost his license for life.
