PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The man who was killed in a shooting on North Williams Avenue on Monday, March 3, 2025, has been identified as Cedrell Washington, 32, of Portland.

The Medical Examiner determined that Washington died of homicide by gunshot wound.

Washington's family has been notified of his death and is requesting privacy at this time.

Washington was one of two people shot and killed late Monday night within about 30 minutes.
