VANCOUVER, Wash. — A man was seriously hurt after a shooting at a Vancouver warehouse Friday morning.
Police said officers were called to the On Trac distribution company’s warehouse, located at the 3600 block of Northwest 32nd Avenue at around 7:50 a.m. after multiple people reported the shooting.
Police said two men, one who was 23 years old and the other who was 21 years old, had gotten into a fight.
The fight was broken up by employees and witnesses, and the two men went to their vehicles. But minutes later, police said the 21-year-old got out of his vehicle with a knife and charged at the other man. The 23-year-old, who was still in his car with his window down, shot the other man in the leg, police said.
The 21-year-old was rushed to an area hospital. Police said they determined the 23-year-old who opened fire acted in self-defense.
