Portland Police are investigating a shooting in downtown that left one man dead.

Police say officers from Central Precinct’s Entertainment District Detail heard shots fired near West Burnside and Southwest 3rd Avenue at 2:41 a.m. Sunday.

When they arrived, they found a male in a parking lot deceased.

Officials say the suspect or suspects left the scene and no immediate arrests were made.

Dante's was hit by gunfire, according to a person who works at the club. Evidence markers were placed on the window where two bullets hit the building. One hit a window, and another bullet stuck the exterior near the overhang.

The Portland Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
