Oregon voters must register by Oct. 17 for upcoming special election

MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. – Oregon voters have until Oct. 17 to register for the Nov. 7 special election.

Voters can register or change their information online at www.oregonvotes.gov.

In order to register online, you must have a valid Oregon driver’s license, permit or ID card.

All voters must be registered by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 17 if they wish to participate in the Nov. 7 election.

Voters can also register on paper with an Oregon Voter Registration Card. Cards are available at the elections office, Oregon DMV, post office or public library.

Oct. 17 is still the deadline for mailing the registration cards.

If you have moved since the last election, you will need to update your voter registration.

Ballots for the Nov. 7 election will be mailed beginning on Oct. 18.

The Multnomah County Duniway-Lovejoy Elections Building is located at 1040 Southeast Morrison Street, Portland, OR, 97214. The elections office is open until 5 p.m. on Oct. 17.
