PDX named best airport in the U.S. 4th year in a row

The Portland International Airport was named best airport in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure for the fourth year in a row.

Each year, the magazine asks its readers to share opinions on the top hotels, resorts, cities, airlines and more across the world. For the airport survey, readers are asked to rate airports on factors including access, check-in, security, restaurants/bars, shopping and design.

Since 2013, PDX has ranked as the top airport among Travel + Leisure's readers.

PDX was followed by the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) in the number two spot, and the Tampa International Airport (TPA) at number three.

The other Portland, Portland, Maine's International Jetport (PMW) took the number 10 spot.

The only other West Coast airport to make the top 10 list was the John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Santa Ana, California.
