Pet owner desperately searching for cat after car stolen, reward offered

Missing kitty, Priscilla.

After days of searching, a woman's stolen car was found Sunday, but the search for her missing cat continues.

The cat's owner is offering a $1,000 reward for the safe return of her cat, Priscilla.

"She means the world to me," Emma Harris told KATU News in tears.

On Friday, Harris said her 1996 Subaru Legacy was stolen from the Mall 205 Target parking lot in Southeast Portland.

Inside the car was Harris's cat. Harris said the cat was with her because there was construction that day inside her apartment.

"When I came out to my car, it wasn’t there and neither was my cat," she said.

Sunday, after an interview with KATU News, Priscilla discovered her car had been returned to the same parking lot, but Priscilla was nowhere to be found.

Harris was in tears as she spoke with a KATU News reporter.

"I just want my cat. She’s my companion and I love her and miss her very much," said earlier that day.

Priscilla is described as a small, affectionate cat with grey fur, black spots with a white chest and white paws. Harris said she bottle fed her as a kitten.
