WOODBURN, Ore. – Oregon State Police say a driver crashed through a fence during a pursuit and later crashed into Taylor Motorcycles in Woodburn Saturday morning.

Troopers responded to a dispute between a driver and a passenger in a moving vehicle on Highway 211 in Woodburn shortly after 10:30 a.m.

When troopers found the vehicle, they determined it was stolen. Troopers tried to pull the vehicle over, but the driver crashed through a fence near the exit for Brookings and kept going. Police decided to not pursue the driver at this point due to unsafe conditions and high speeds.

More troopers tried contacting the driver farther down the road, but the driver crashed into Taylors Motorcycles on North Pacific Highway in Woodburn.

Troopers arrested the woman in the passenger seat, but the man who was driving fled and barricaded himself in the back room of the motorcycle shop.

Eventually, police say he surrendered.

The suspects names have not yet been released.
