Police identify 18-year-old killed in Northeast Portland shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. – An 18-year-old died in the hospital after he was shot Saturday in Northeast Portland’s Parkrose neighborhood.

Reports came in about 12:30 p.m. for a shooting near Northeast 109th Avenue and Wygant Street.

Arriving officers found 18-year-old Jackson Panyanouvong suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a hospital, where he later was pronounced dead from the injury.
