Police investigate shots fired on East Burnside Street

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland police officers say someone shot a vehicle near East Burnside Street Monday evening.

Officers responded to the area of 120th Avenue and East Burnside Street at 7:37 p.m. for a report of gunfire.

When they arrived, officers found evidence of gunfire and found a maroon Mitsubishi sedan with a bullet strike.

Police say they did not locate any victims at the scene and no gunshot wound victims arrived at nearby hospitals.

Based on information learned at the scene, the Gang Enforcement Team will be investigating.
