Police respond to shooting at SE Portland Plaid Pantry

PORTLAND, Ore. - Police are investigating a shooting early Tuesday morning at a convenience store in Southeast Portland.

No initial word from officers on whether anyone was injured by the gunfire.

Portland Police responded to a “shots fired” call about 2:30 a.m. at the Plaid Pantry on SE 112th Avenue and Division Street.

Witnesses told officers that a man standing in the parking lot opened fire on a car that was parked in one of the spaces in front of the store.

The shooter, and the driver and passengers inside the car left before officers arrived at the scene.

Police searched the area and checked in with hospitals, however they didn't find anyone with gunshot injuries.
