PORTLAND, Ore. – Police say a MAX train collided with a vehicle in downtown Portland Wednesday morning, but no one was injured.

The crash occurred near Southwest 4th Avenue and Southwest Yamhill Street around 7:35 a.m.

Investigators say it appears the driver of the vehicle did not obey a traffic control device, which resulted in the collision.

The roadway was closed temporarily.

TriMet said the crash caused delays to the Blue and Red lines.
