BOISE, Idaho (CBS 2 News) – A Portland man was taken off an Alaska Airlines flight Friday morning after someone reported their wallet had been stolen.

According to Boise police, a passenger approached officers after he said he couldn't find his wallet after going through security.

Officers checked the surveillance videos and say they saw a man take the victim's wallet after it came through the security screening.

Another person found the victim's wallet in the restroom with the money inside taken out.

Police identified the suspect as Yousef Jamal Ramadan, 27, of Portland, and tracked down what plane he was on.

BPD says officers removed Ramadan from the plane and placed him under arrest for grand theft.

The flight was delayed until the situation was resolved.
