Portland police investigate shooting in Southwest Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. – Police are investigating a reported shooting in Southwest Portland Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the report of a shooting outside an apartment complex in the 10900 block of Southwest Capitol Highway at 2:01 a.m.

When they arrived in the area, a witness told them there was a disturbance outside the residence and an unknown person fired a gunshot toward the home. Police determined the gunshot damaged a window, but did not injure anyone.

Police say the suspect is a tan-skinned man in his 20s or 30s. He left the area in a white pickup truck,

The Gun Violence Response Team is investigating.
