Suspect in SE Portland armed robbery rides away on bicycle

PORTLAND, Ore. – Police are looking for a man who robbed a Southeast Portland convenience store at gunpoint and rode away on a mountain bike.

The robbery happened just before 10 a.m. Tuesday at the K.S. Food Mart on SE Division Street near 153rd Avenue.

Witnesses said the suspect went into the store, showed a handgun and demanded money.

The clerk gave him some cash and he left on a silver mountain bike with straight handlebars.

Portland Police described the suspect as in his 40s, about 6-foot 1-inch tall, and weighing between 190 to 200 pounds. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a leather jacket and gray pants.
