Oaks Park Oktoberfest
You can don your dirndl and feel like you're in Germany, without hopping on a plane.
The Oaks Park Oktoberfest goes on until 11 p.m. Friday.
It continues Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There's authentic German food, live oompah bands, polka dancing, kinderplatz, wiener dog races, fun and games, cooking demonstrations, and a new and expanded beer portfolio.
Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for kids.
Kids are welcome in all areas during all hours.
Autumn Moon Festival
Most cultures have a harvest festival - and China is no exception.
You can celebrate at the Autumn Moon Festival!
Enjoy cultural performances, like lion dances, music, vendors and food cars.
It's all happening Saturday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a special festival lot outside the Lan Su Chinese Garden in Northwest Portland.
Admission is free, but to attend events inside the garden tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and kids.
Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival
Three days of workshops at the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival in Canby start Friday.
The weekend is filled with demonstrations, livestock shows, seminars and kids activities.
The fun continues Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Clackamas County Event Center.
