TIGARD, Ore. – Students at Tigard High School are planning a pro-Second Amendment walkout Wednesday.

The walkout is a national event called “Stand for the Second.” Students at schools across the country are expected to walk out of class to support their right to bear arms.

Since the deadly school shooting in Parkland, Florida in February, students across the U.S. have taken part in multiple national walkouts to support stricture gun control.

Wednesday’s walkout supporting gun rights is set to begin at 10 a.m.

According to a map on the Stand for the Second website, students at Tigard, Sunset, Mountain View, Clackamas, Ridgefield and McNary High Schools are planning to walkout.
