Tualatin police seek more information on man indicted on child sex abuse charges
TUALATIN, Ore. – The Tualatin Police Department is asking the public for more information after a grand jury indicted a man on 10 counts of first-degree encouraging child sex abuse on April 3, 2019.
Police say they began investigating 52-year-old Eric Warren Brown, of Tualatin, in 2018 when police received information from the Department of justice about an Internet Crimes Against Children task force tip. The tip alleged Brown was sharing child pornography on internet sites such as Tumblr and searching for and downloading child pornography on his personal devices.
When officers served a search warrant, they found more than 300 images of children and children engaged in sexually explicit activity on Brown’s internet accounts and personal devices.
Detectives believe Brown has been involved in similar crimes for many years and are asking the public for information that can help them with the investigation.
Anyone with information on Brown should call Tualatin Police Detective Matthew Messina at (503) 691-4843.
