Two drivers roll their vehicles within an hour near Forest Park in NW Portland
PORTLAND, Ore. – Police are looking into two rollover crashes that happened within an hour of each other along the same stretch of Germantown Road.
Luckily, no one was hurt in either incident.
The first driver crashed at about 1 p.m. near where Germantown Road enters Forest Park. Their vehicle landed about 100 feet down an embankment.
The driver climbed back up the embankment, uninjured, and waited for first responders to arrive.
An hour later, another driver rolled their vehicle about a quarter-mile up the road. The driver told our photojournalist at the scene that he "hit a part of the road and started sliding."
No word from officials on what caused either crash.
A tow truck was able to haul the first driver's vehicle back up the embankment.
