U.S. Marshals arrest suspect in several Clackamas County armed robberies
HAPPY VALLEY, Ore. - Local law enforcement agencies worked together to arrest an armed robbery suspect in Clackamas County Friday.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery a 2 a.m. at Sports on Tap on Jan. 7, 2018.
Witnesses said the suspect pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the bartender and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
Deputies identified the suspect as 26-year-old Gary Kamuela Kealoha.
Investigators learned the Gladstone Police Department was working on a robbery case from Oct. 7, 2017 and Kealoha was the suspect.
U.S. Marshals Service served an arrest warrant and arrested Kealoha Friday.
Kealoha was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment, third-degree theft, two counts of first-degree robbery, two counts of first-degree theft, unlawful use of a weapon, a probation violation for coercion and a probation violation for fourth-degree assault.
His bail is set at $285,000.
