Vancouver police arrest man accused of attacking cab driver

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Police arrested a Vancouver man who’s accused of punching a cab driver early Sunday morning.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Keonte Desmont Scott, 20, was riding in a Radio Cab when he punched the driver’s face several times on the right side.

The cab driver told police Scott threatened to kill him with a gun. The driver said Scott reached toward a fanny pack when he said this and the driver feared for his life.

Scott owed the cab driver $57, but refused to pay for the ride.

Scott was arrested on charges of harassment and fourth-degree assault. He was also arrested on a warrant.
