Vancouver woman remains in critical condition, adult son charged with attempted murder
A Vancouver woman remains in critical condition after police say she was stabbed by her 28-year old son on Friday.
Officers found Sonya Toombs, 57, with stab wounds around her face and neck on Southeast Angus Street in Vancouver.
Her son, Brian Toombs, has been charged with attempted murder.
On Sunday, officials with Southwest Medical Center confirmed that Sonya Toombs was in critical condition.
Officers say her son called dispatchers and admitted to stabbing her.
