
PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A shooting in the Sabin neighborhood on Sunday left one man dead inside a parked car.
On Sunday, Oct. 27 at around 2:00 a.m. Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to a call of shots fired on the 4500 block of Northeast 20th Avenue.
No suspects were at the scene of the crime and no immediate arrests were made.
Portland Homicide Unit responded to the scene. The victim was identified the victim as 22 year-old Leno Batista-Guzman from Portland.

Leno was the nephew of the owner ofBison Coffeehouse, who memorialized him through a post on Instagram.
The coffee shop was previously targeted in 2022 for hosting an event with Portland police, "Coffee with a Cop."

Batista-Guzman's family has been notified of his death and provided a photograph for public release. The medical examiner determined his cause of death to be homicide by gunshot wound.
The case remains an active investigation and detectives continue to seek additional information.
