Many of you are probably wondering what to do with your eclipse glasses now that the big event is over.

According to Kendall Martin with Metro, you can recycle the paper part of your glasses, but you'll have to take out the film.

You'll have to throw away the film, and any frames that are made of plastic.

He says you can also call the Portland Metro Recycling Information hotline at 503-234-3000 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday if you have any questions.
