PORTLAND, Ore. – If you don’t want to spend money on a pair of eclipse-viewing glasses, the Multnomah County Library has you covered.

The total solar eclipse’s path of totality will pass over Portland on August 21.

If you don’t want to damage your eyes by watching it, you need to use a pair of certified eclipse-viewing glasses.

The Multnomah County Library said they will be giving glasses away for free while supplies last.

They’re limiting it to one pair per person.
