Wind and rain leaves thousands of customers without power in Northwest Oregon
PORTLAND, Ore. – The strong winds and heavy precipitation have knocked out power for thousands of customers in Northwest Oregon Tuesday morning.
As of 6:20 a.m., PGE reported more than 9,000 customers were experiencing outages. PGE says there were 18 outages in Clackamas County, 13 in Marion County, 9 in Multnomah County, two in Polk County, 11 in Washington County, and eight in Yamhill County.
For Pacific Power, more than 6,000 customers were in the dark Tuesday morning.
Central Lincoln PUD says as of 6:20 a.m. there were more than 1,500 customers without power in Lincoln County.
In Clark County, there was one reported outage that impacted 43 customers, but it was resolved quickly
If your power goes out, do not call 911. Instead, call your local power utility to report the issue or report it online.
