Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm extends festival to May 6
WOODBURN, Ore. — If you haven't had time to make it out to the Wooden Shoe Tulip farm this season, you're in luck!
The farm is extending its tulip festival to May 6, opening its beautiful vibrant fields of flowers to the public for one more week than planned.
Wooden Shoe says they're keeping it open a little longer due to the cold, wet weather that got things off to a slow start.
They expect to be in peak bloom through the next two weeks.
The festival was originally scheduled to last through Monday, April 30.
Besides strolling through 40 acres of multi-colored tulips, the Wooden Shoe Tulip Fest offers loads of kids' activities, craft vendors, food, wine tasting and tours, wooden shoe making and other special events.
Also, dogs are welcome! (As long as they're on a leash)
