Second Parkland school student dead in 'apparent suicide,' police say
(CBS12) Another student of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School has died by suicide, according to police.
Coral Springs Police say they responded to the student's home in regards to a death call and found the student deceased Saturday night.
They say the student died in "an apparent suicide," they add.
Police are still investigating the cause of death.
The Miami Herald is reporting that Coral Springs police could not say the exact age of the survivor, though they tell the Herald the student was a juvenile.
This is the second suicide of a Parkland school shooting survivor. Sydney Aiello, an MSD graduate, committed suicide last week. According to Aiello's mother, Aiello was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder and was having trouble attending classes at her college because she did not feel safe in a classroom.
