McDonald's handing out books, not toys, in New Zealand

Instead of handing out toys, McDonald's restaurants in New Zealand will include about 800,000 books by children's author Roald Dahl in its Happy Meals.

The Independent reports the fast food chain will offer six books in the meals.

It's not the first time McDonald's offers books instead of toys, which is part of an effort to get children to read more.
