School district begins overdose prevention training after Narcan approval

Narcan, a nasal spray also known as naloxone, is a potentially lifesaving medication designed to help reverse the effects of an opioid overdose in minutes. It can quickly restore normal breathing to a person if their breathing has slowed or stopped because of an opioid overdose, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. (KATU)
