Local holocaust survivor inspires bill to make holocaust education mandatory in Oregon
Before his death in December, Holocaust survivor Alter Wiener touched the lives of many people, young and old, by telling his story. Two of those people, a teenager and a state senator, are now carrying on his mission to make sure every student in Oregon learns about the Holocaust and genocide.
