Oregon governor-hopeful Knute Buehler on winning Republican nomination

Republican nomination for Oregon governor race Knute Buehler and KATU's Deb Knapp.

Knute Buehler just clinched the Republican nomination for Oregon governor in this week’s primary election.

He will face current governor Kate Brown in the gubernatorial race set for this November.

Buehler, a doctor by trade and freshman legislator, represents House District 54, which encompasses Bend. He says he believes he has a clear path to victory.
