Your Voice Your Vote: Mayor Ted Wheeler expands upon State of the City topics

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler appeared in this episode of Your Voice Your Vote after delivering his State of the City Address earlier in the week.

Portlanders had a chance to tell the mayor what they like most about Portland and what concerns them most about the city.

Residents said they appreciated the diversity of professions in the city, its proximity to the coast and mountains, the food scene and arts culture and the general “funky vibes.”

What don’t they like? Traffic, the homeless and the lack of affordable housing.

Wheeler addressed some of these concerns in his State of the City speech.

He also talked more about his plans for police and the officer involved shooting that occurred on Saturday, April 7.
