The Oregon Humane Society telethon returns to KATU

Help end petlessness with the Oregon Humane Society telethon!

The Oregon Humane Society serves as a temporary home and safe haven for animals of all shapes and sizes: dogs, cats, bunnies and even horses. But keeping these animals happy and healthy, as well as working to find them temporary homes comes at a cost.

OHS relies entirely on donations to help more than 11,000 animals each year - that's why the 18th annual OHS telethon is returning to KATU News Thursday, Oct. 5!

Tune into Channel 2's AM Northwest from 9 - 10 a.m., Afternoon Live from 3 - 4 p.m., and evening news from 4 -7 p.m to see the adorable pets of OHS who are looking for loving homes.

Last year, the Oregon Humane Society Telethon raised $422,676 during the telethon!

Call 1-800-346-9256 during the event to make a donation, or you can donate online HERE.
